Ballerina has been so excited about her new book: 50 Fairy Things to Make & Do. She's been begging to do projects from it every day. Sweetie received a book called 50 Science Things to Make & Do. Ballerina was more interested in it and she and my sister, The Youngest, made these blooming flowers from it.
You just place the flower in the tub of water and it opens up. Pretty cool.

Science is always fascinating to kids. Kind of like Ballerina asking how the animals were stuffed. Very cool showing how the flower opens in the water.
I think doing a science experiment every Saturday would be fun with the kids.
