My mom has been planning our day in downtown Salt Lake for months. She was so excited to share the experience of Temple Square with the kids. We started in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The kids are by the big statue of their 7th (give or take) great uncle, Joseph Smith.
Handsome Husband flew in the day before, so he got to enjoy the day with us.
The buildings are always decorated so beautifully and festively.
A children's choir started singing while we were there so we went up to watch.
We felt like we were right at home in Portland with all the rain that day.
We caught the Trax to go explore more of the city.

I believe that Joseph Smith is my six great-uncle. So he should be the kids' seventh great-uncle.
When the kids are a little older, we'll have to take them to the church theater there.
