Captain Adorable is NOT a morning person. He takes after me. He needs a moment to wake up before you go and stick a Santa hat on his head.

I video taped the kids going upstairs to see what Santa brought so I missed their first reactions with my still camera. And I missed the chance to take a picture of all the aunts and uncle sitting on the stairs, watching the kids through the bars of the banister. That was absolutely priceless. Well, at least it's on video. Here's what I did get.
Captain Adorable came to know EXACTLY what those brightly colored wrappers contained and he SQUEALED for a bite every time he saw one.
Captain Adorable received a new Little People ramp toy. Packing that to get it home was NO easy task.
Eating the candy right away. Sweetie never sucks on her candy. She always chomps.
And did Santa deliver on the LONGED FOR pillow pets? Yes, he did. A blue dolphin for Sweetie.
Handsome Husband received this set of polar animals because his favorite animal is a polar bear. The kids LOVED the set.
Ruthann, Stef and I received these stylish headband wraps. Don't worry, I have already contacted my personal hat designer and am hoping to get a few more of these for pictures and for myself.
While Papa R made his signature Christmas morning breakfast, Grandma J skyped with my older sister who lives on the east coast.
This is Cousin S and she is a couple of months older than Sweetie. Sweetie was sooo excited that she was her age.
Sweetie is trying to impress Cousin S with her favorite funny face.
Ballerina pretended to be Winnie the Pooh, asking for some honey on her waffle.
After breakfast we opened presents. This is my sister K and her fiance C. They are getting married next month!
When Captain Adorable was first handed some presents to open he tried to stuff the tissue paper back inside. Maybe he thought it was falling out.
He is a big fan of Mario. He gets very excited every time we turn on the Wii.
Stefanie seems to be proud of herself for getting the right gift for her new husband.
Every Christmas we try to stick all the bows on the youngest child. The bows weren't super sticky this year, though.
Sweetie loved her glow in the dark star stickers from Aunt Stef and Uncle Tayler.
Ballerina was over the moon about her digital camera. Wonder why she likes the idea of taking pictures so much?
Captain Adorable loves this dump truck, you can store other cars inside it. He loves being able to open and close the hatch and put things in.
Sweetie received the Beast doll. She was happy to have the perfect "bad guy" for when she and Ballerina play Barbies.
Handsome Husband was excited about this new game. It's Pictionary with Legos. Turns out that Ballerina really likes to play it with him.
Sweetie is my little Disney girl. She loves the Disney Princesses, all the old cartoon shorts, the new movie Tangled. She was excited to get this Mickey and Minnie from my parents.
My sister K really likes the hats that my friend M makes so I gave her this one.
Grandma fell asleep on the chair in after all the excitement was over. We played LOTS of games and hung out in our new pjs all day. It was a great Christmas.

Too funny that your first Christmas pic is of Cpt A crying!
Nice job of capturing all the moments.
Our children received way too many toys. we definitely need to do some serious organization of all the stuff. I told Ballerina that we might get a new house in 3 yrs or so. So this morning she asked how many days 3 yrs was. I told her about 1000. She likes the idea of having her own room.
