Trunk or Treat

This year the Ward Trunk or Treat was on Halloween. Handsome Husband was a referee and Captain Adorable was the football. I was a witch, Baby Dragon was the Queen of Hearts. Sweetie started out as a dragon.
Football baby. One of the boys in our ward thought this was the coolest costume.
Getting candy. Sweetie didn't want to wear the dragon costume (Handsome Husband wanted her to wear it because it would keep her warm). Once Sweetie got candy she wanted to start eating it. So, I changed her into the fairy costume since it's the only one she was willing to wear. Then Sweetie hung out with Stefanie and helped hand out (and eat) candy.
Stefanie went as "Facebook" as inspired by the show "The Office."
Some people went all out with their decorations. We're lame and we just show up with candy. :)
Handsome Husband had a grand ole time, showcasing his son.
This is my visiting teaching companion and her husband. Notice the baby in the car in the cow costume. That is our costume that both my girls wore for their first Halloween. Captain Adorable was too small so we let them borrow it for their little girl.
Sweetie was sooo hyper on her candy. She didn't seem to notice the cold.
She was willing to go around from trunk to trunk after a while.
Baby Dragon was getting cold.
Baby Dragon and her friend. This was just before we left.
When we got home I stayed with Stefanie to feed Captain Adorable and man the door. Handsome Husband took the girls around the neighborhood. Baby Dragon went as a knight and Sweetie was still the fairy. They were SOO happy to get all that candy. And Sweetie was excited to see a "skeweton" decoration.

tick or treating has to be one of the best thnigs ever to do with your kids. I am glad the girls had a blast. It is nice to see them catching on and getting into it.

Life should always be about getting free candy!

Are you in the Gates' ward? She was my VT comp when she lived in Reedville. We absolutely love them.
