We are waiting on the Steele bridge for the ships to come in.
Here is Handsome Husband and his work building (the tall silver one).
This Portland Fire Boat is leading the big ship.

This is the big USS Bunker Hill.

Ballerina's reaction to seeing the huge ship:
This is the best picture I could get of Ballerina and the ship.
You just can't imagine how big this ship is! That American flag was easily taller than our house!
We came down to watch the ship dock. These fences were up for security. I believe they take the fences down and allow you to walk the waterfront once everything is secure.
Abra and Kyle came and met us down by the waterfront to see the ships and to see Jeana.
Landon is very happy that Sweetie shared a cracker with him.
The Fire Boat is shooting red and white water as it leads in the Canadian HMCS Vancouver. For the American boat it shot out red, white and blue water, but we missed that part.
Next year we will try to come after the ships are in so we can get closer.

Even though we couldn't tour the ships, I really enjoyed seeing them pull in. The weather was nice a cool, and the ships were very impressive!
