Captain Adorable is ten months and he is very happy to be growing up and gaining more control of his body! He can crawl all over the place now. Sometimes, he is so excited to get to one spot that his arms go faster than his legs and he ends up on his belly, but he still tries to keep crawling and it looks like he's trying to swim on the ground. It's too fun to watch.
This was his first time sitting in the grass. He didn't know what to do with that:

- Captain Adorable LOVES standing up. He still can't quite pull himself up on his own. He doesn't know how to get down yet, so when he's all done he'll stand against the couch or ottoman and complain until I come and help him down.

- He loves when I hold his hands to help him stand up and walk. He looks up at me and gives me the biggest grins.
- Captain Adorable loves bath time. He likes to splash and play with his rubber ducky.
- He has a new fascination with balls since he can now crawl after them and get them.
- He is a lot more vocal and will squeal at me when he is hungry or if I'm not holding him when he wants to be held.
- He's trying to eat a clover:

- He wants to be held when he is tired or hungry.
- When I do pick him up he often pushes away from me so he can face out.
- He thinks that if I'm holding anything then it must be for him to play with.
- He loves to be tickled.
- Captain Adorable sometimes isn't very interested in drinking his whole bottle. He is just too excited to go and do something. Other times he will down the bottle really quickly.
- He chews on his blanket when he is tired, still no teeth. I love when babies cuddle with their blankets. It is so sweet. Of course, I'm not used to his brand of cuddling, with stuffing it in his mouth. You can sometimes find him asleep with his blanket still in his mouth.
- He makes very boyish grunts and growls.
He likes pretzels and graham crackers. He likes almost any baby food, except peaches. He loves his formula and oatmeal. He has been getting pretty good at eating table foods as well. He likes green beans, refried beans, mashed potatoes, chicken enchiladas, Pops, Apple Jacks, Hawaiian haystacks, rice, pineapple, smoothies, yogurt, etc. He always wants to try anything that we are eating. - He begs with his eyes, following the food to your mouth. Then if you aren't sharing fast enough then he'll squeal at you.
- He is getting very good with his hands and can pick up very small things with his fingers. I have found way too many little discarded hair things in his mouth already. Time to vacuum and sweep more frequently...
- Captain Adorable also like to pull the white caps off the door stops and still them in his mouth.
- He still takes two naps a day and sleeps through the night. He normally goes to bed between 8 and 9pm and wakes up around 8am. He likes to sleep on his stomach now.
- He still flaps his arms when he is excited. I like to think he's trying to fly.
- He loves to put things inside or on top of things.
He gives me grins every time he sees me (unless he is really tired), and he gives me especially big ones if he thinks I'm coming over to pick him up.- Captain Adorable loves having people in the same room with him. He loves to watch his older sisters.
- If left alone for too long, he will let out a strong, high pitched scream to let you know he has been forgotten.
- Captain Adorable loves to play with Ballerina. She likes to lay her head in his lap to pretend that he is a doctor. She says, "Fix me, Dr!" And he happily grabs at her face. He adores her attention.

That's a good picture of HH.
It is strange to think that Cpt A is already 10 months old. Ballerina and Sweetie took a long time to grow up, but Cpt A seems to be growing much faster.
You want to bring the kids in sometime to show them off?
