She wanted to pose with it. Sweetie was taking a nap when they arrived. Hers was in pieces, but she didn't care, she was so excited for the chocolate.

On Saturday we went to visit Handsome Husband's family for his niece's baptism and a family Easter Egg hunt on the farm. The girls loved it and Baby Dragon told me she wanted goats, ducks, bunnies and chickens... I forgot my camera, but there are some on Grandma L's camera.
Easter morning we got up early and the girls found their baskets. Baby Dragon was a little indignant that the bunny would hide their baskets, but she got over that when she found hers. She wanted the Easter bunny to come back and kept shouting "Thankyou, Easter bunny!" They had hats in their baskets and Baby Dragon especially loves hers. We did have the girls gather a few eggs that were "hidden", but Sweetie wasn't really into it. When she first came downstairs the first thing she did before finding her basket was to grab an Easter egg off the couch, pop it open and start chowing down on jelly beans. She would have rather gone from egg to egg, eating the candy one at a time, instead of putting them in her basket first.
Handsome Husband made pancakes for breakfast. He loves hot breakfasts and makes them for us almost every weekend. The Easter bunny was especially nice this year and brought that new-to-us kitchen hutch for me (you can see it behind Sweetie in this picture).
Sweetie liked kissing and holding the Peeps, but she didn't eat them.
Here we are ready for church:
After church we relaxed all day, had a nice Easter dinner and Baby Dragon watched an animated show of the Easter story. She was so excited when Jesus was risen. I'm sure she had been hearing the story all day at church and we taught it to her for FHE last Monday and reminded her of it during scripture reading the night before, so I think she was excited to see it on TV. She wants Jesus to come and visit our house so she can show Him the block tower she built. She prayed that He could come. I explained that we are waiting for Him to come down again and we don't know when that will be. This morning she remembered and prayed that He could come down again soon. I was happy that the thing that stuck from yesterday was the story of Jesus!
